What happens when one of Britain’s oldest luxury houses takes on some of the world’s most iconic superheroes? Asprey Studio’s (Instagram) Marvel Masterpieces Avengers: Asprey Studio Collection answers with a bold new vision, a series of one-of-one physical and digital artworks celebrating 85 years of Marvel storytelling. Sixty handcrafted sterling silver sculptures meet dynamic blockchain-backed digital art, giving fans, collectors, and design lovers an entirely new way to experience the Avengers.
Unveiled across showcases in London, New York, and soon Dubai, the collection marks one of Asprey Studio’s most ambitious collaborations to date, blending pop-culture mythology with heritage-level craftsmanship.
Across 60 characters from the Marvel universe, from Hulk and Iron Man to Black Panther and Captain America, each piece is created as a unique pairing: a sterling silver sculpture and a corresponding digital artwork. Both halves of the duo are produced in-house by Asprey Studio, pushing the boundaries between physical mastery and digital innovation.
The sculptures are handcrafted at the Asprey Studio Atelier in Kent, where master silversmiths use a multi-stage process that merges traditional techniques with contemporary fabrication. Every curve, armour plate, and heroic stance is shaped by hand, giving each sculpture depth, weight, and presence.
Their digital counterparts, accessible via the Ethereum blockchain, are sculpted and animated frame-by-frame. Drawing from Marvel’s vast comic archive, Asprey Studio recreates each character in subtle motion, alive, reactive, and ever-so-slightly unpredictable. The goal, explains Chief Creative Officer Alastair Walker, was to “retain the soul of each character,” creating digital works that shift each time you look at them.
This is more than a collection of artworks, it’s a bridge between forms of storytelling. To honour Marvel’s comic-book heritage and Asprey’s own legacy in fine and rare books, each collector will also receive a specially commissioned limited-edition comic book.
For Asprey, the partnership is about elevating pop-cultural icons through centuries-old craftsmanship; for Marvel and Disney Consumer Products, it’s a celebration of myth-making, creativity, and the future of immersive art. As John Rigas, Chairman of Asprey International Ltd., puts it, the collaboration delivers “a magical outcome” where technology, mythology, and artistry converge.
After quiet unveilings in London and New York, the collection will travel to Dubai in December 2025. And this is just the beginning. Asprey Studio has confirmed that the Avengers collection is the first in a series of upcoming releases.
