Emirati artist and autism advocate Abdulla Lutfi (Instagram) is taking over the ftNFT Phygital Space (Instagram) at Dubai Mall for one day only on April 12. Lutfi will present an immersive, multi-dimensional art experience that fuses bold visual storytelling with digital innovation, all in celebration of World Autism Awareness Day.

Hosted by ftNFT, a platform that bridges physical and digital art, the event will offer an up-close look at Lutfi’s distinctive black-and-white cityscapes, satirical scenes, and his latest contribution to the AKNEYE project—a global initiative that reimagines the “eye” as a symbol of awareness and perception.

But this isn’t your typical gallery experience. The centerpiece of the event is a live art performance where Lutfi will create a piece on an eye-shaped canvas, offering a rare glimpse into his spontaneous, expressive process. Visitors will also have access to limited-edition prints and exclusive merchandise inspired by his work.

“I’m incredibly honoured to present my work in collaboration with ftNFT, especially in recognition of World Autism Awareness Day,” said Lutfi. “This exhibition is not just about showcasing art; it’s about using the power of creative expression to foster understanding and inclusivity for people of determination. Through this event, we hope to open hearts and minds to the importance of empathy and human connection.”

The event also features a panel discussion where Lutfi will share insights into his process, how his experiences as a person of determination influence his work, and why visibility for the autism community matters now more than ever.

Since 2023, ftNFT has supported autism-related causes, including Armenia’s Autism National Foundation. For mother company’s Fastex Co-Founder Vigen Badalyan, the partnership with Lutfi is a natural extension of that commitment, “Abdulla Lutfi’s art provides a platform for advocacy, using art to spark meaningful conversations about understanding and inclusion. By combining physical and digital mediums, we are creating an experience that encourages attendees to engage with this important issue in a deeper and more impactful way,” he said.

Lutfi’s collaboration with ftNFT is a statement about where art is heading—phygital, personal, and purpose-driven. Whether you’re a collector, a creative, or just curious, this one-of-a-kind event is a must-see for anyone passionate about art and advocacy in the Middle East.
