Azra Khamissa (Instagram) is a UAE-based artist and designer who has reimagined henna as a modern art form. Using henna and photography, she addresses contemporary themes, such as sustainability and cultural identity while celebrating SWANA cultures. This year, Khamissa launched her book The Henna Archive, her swimwear line Azractive, and a fine jewellery collection Forget Me Not.
