The key pieces?

  • Animal-inspired garments: Frogs and rabbits, symbols of transformation and good luck, adorn everything from jewellery to clothing. Look out for playful prints, embroidered patches, and even articulated frog brooches.
  • Reimagined power dressing: The collection features oversized silhouettes, unconventional fabrics, and a touch of grunge. It’s a new kind of power dressing that’s both sophisticated and carefree.
  • Nostalgic details: Classic Italian tailoring mixed with youthful exuberance – think traditional herringbone, playful striped shirting, and a little more grunge.
  • Whimsical accessories: From grocery bag-inspired handbags to bunny-adorned mules, the accessories are as fun and unexpected as the collection itself.

The materials and colours?

The collection features a mix of high-quality materials, including leather, merino wool, and cotton. The colour palette is predominantly neutral, with pops of bright colours like pink and black.

Most importantly… the seats?

Matthieu Blazy took the theme of childhood reverie a step further with the runway seating. Stepping away from traditional bleachers, he created a whimsical collection of 460 luxury beanbag chairs in the shapes of various animals. These plush thrones added a layer of surreal fun to the show, the fusion of fashion and performance art creating a truly unique and memorable experience for attendees.

The only question left, on which animal chair would Anna Wintour sit?
