Breitling (Instagram) is saluting Ahmed Seddiqi’s 75th anniversary (Instagram) with a limited-edition Avenger Automatic 42 Night Mission, produced in just 75 pieces and finished with the retailer’s commemorative logo. It’s a crisp, modern nod to a partnership that has shaped watch culture in the UAE, and it drops exclusively at select boutiques in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition leans into the Avenger’s hard-wearing DNA with a carbon black dial and a case-and-bezel execution in scratch-resistant ceramic. On the dial, the numerals 7 and 5 pop in a contrasting shade, a subtle visual cue to the milestone. Around back, a solid, screwed case back carries a custom engraving of the anniversary logo. “We’re delighted to release the new Seddiqi 75th anniversary limited edition from one of most iconic collections, the Avenger,” says Aed Adwan, Managing Director of Breitling Middle East. “This exceptional timepiece embodies strength, resilience and a bold spirit, which reflects our enduring relationship with our esteemed retail partner Ahmed Seddiqi.”
Sized at a versatile 42 mm and water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), the watch runs the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 17 automatic movement, delivering a straightforward three-hand-and-date display and approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Legibility lands via Super-LumiNova indexes and hands, and the cambered sapphire crystal is glareproofed on both sides. A titanium screw-locked crown and a unidirectional ratcheted ceramic bezel round out the spec sheet.
