In a vibrant celebration of fashion and creativity, Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) proudly announces the talented finalists of the 2024 awards. These promising designers from across the Middle East and North Africa, along with guest participants from Spain, are poised to dazzle the industry with their innovative designs and fresh perspectives.

The glitz and glam of the MENA fashion world is set to reach new heights as Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA, Instagram) unveils the finalists for its 2024 awards. This year, eighteen exceptional designers from the MENA region and four from Spain have been chosen to compete in various categories, highlighting their unique talents and visionary work.

The advisory board, featuring fashion luminaries such as Nina Garcia and Law Roach, has handpicked finalists who exemplify the spirit of innovation and creativity. These designers will present their collections in Marrakech on October 24th, competing for coveted awards in Ready-to-Wear, Evening Wear, Jewellery, Accessories, and, for the Spanish entrants, the Guest Country award.

 

Fashion Trust Arabia Categories and Finalists

Ready-to-Wear: Kawthar Alhoraish from Saudi Arabia, Nadine Mosallam from Egypt, and Naïma Trabelsi from Tunisia bring fresh takes on everyday elegance.

Spain, this year’s guest country, adds an international flavor with designers like Juan Vidal, Francisco Barroso and Javier Garcia of Acromatyx, Ernesto Naranjo and Leandro Cano, showcasing the global appeal and collaborative spirit of the FTA Awards.

 

Empowering the Next Generation

Winners of the FTA 2024 Awards will receive not only a financial grant but also invaluable exposure and mentorship opportunities. Other incredible benefits include retail partnerships with prestigious outlets like Harrods, and mentorships with The Bicester Collection, an internship with Huntsman and Maison De Mode ensure that these designers’ careers will be nurtured to reach global markets. Finally, the winning designers will benefit from a two-day bespoke FTA mentorship program in London in partnership with The Bicester Collection, Brand x Society, and the British Fashion Council.

FTA continues to act as a pivotal platform for MENA designers, under the guidance of HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser. Since its inception, FTA has been a catalyst for regional talent to shine on the international stage, promising a brighter future for the global fashion landscape.
