Luxury Italian fashion house Fendi will show its SS/24 Menswear collection at Pitti Uomo. The show will take place on June 15th, sometime in the late afternoon at Fendi’s newly inaugurated factory in Capannucia, a Tuscan village just outside of Florence.
“We are proud to open Fendi Factory to our clients and press, making it live outside the day by day for the upcoming men’s fashion show in June during Pitti Uomo. It is a special place for our artisans and local community as it represents Fendi heritage and creativity, nurturing precious handmade abilities of its artisans and preserving Made in Italy,” Serge Brunschwig, CEO of Fendi said.
The idea for Fendi’s Pitti Uomo show was initiated between Pitti Immagine, the entity behind Pitti Uomo, and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
“I am thrilled that the next men’s show will take place in such a special location to me, the pulsing heart of Fendi,” Sylvia Venturini Fendi said. “A place symbolic of creation, where development, innovation, craftsmanship, training, and production are reunited under the same roof. It will be such a unique occasion to see our products take life exactly where our Artisans make them, letting them take centre stage on that day.”
Fendi also said, via a press release, that the house will return to show as part of Milan Fashion Week starting in January next year, where it will showcase its Men’s FW/ 2024-2025 collection.
The Rome-based fashion house unveiled its Tuscan factory in December last year. The new venue was a collaborative project between the label’s in-house architecture team and Piuarch, a Milan-based architectural studio. The multi-facet building features a production warehouse, workshops, and offices, as well as a school for leather goods and a restaurant.
