Mariam Yehia, the Egyptian-French designer behind Mrs. Keepa (Instagram), co-founded the brand with her husband, Bassel Komaty, whose nickname inspired its name. Since launching in 2016, Mariam has approached contemporary fashion with bold, avant-garde designs. She focuses on sustainability and combats waste in fashion by using zero-waste production and repurposed materials in her designs. This year, Mrs Keepa collaborated with VOX Cinemas during Dubai Fashion Week, where the brand unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Need Therapy, through an innovative 15-minute film presentation.
