For Bottega Veneta’s Summer 2026 presentation, even the seating became part of the story. Designed by 6:AM (Instagram), the stools were sculpted from hand-blown Murano glass, grounding the show in the house’s Venetian heritage. Starting as solid 43 cm cubes, each piece was carved and refined through CNC-mold techniques, recalling the early stages of marble sculpture.
The contradiction is deliberate: monumental, stone-like proportions softened by the imperfections and fluidity of glass. Symmetrical recesses add both rhythm and structural strength, while rippling textures and a bespoke palette of ten shades transform them into luminous sculptures. On the stark white floor, light fractured across their surfaces, creating a play of color, density, and transparency.
More than functional objects, these cubes reframed the runway as an immersive installation—proof that in Bottega’s world, even a stool can carry the weight of craft, place, and experimentation.
