From April 25 to May 4, Kite Beach transformed into a runner’s paradise with a takeover that was all about pushing limits, testing gear, and vibing with the city’s most passionate runners. The 10DAY/10K challenge invited runners to hit Kite Beach every day, with runs led by Nike ambassadors – Rawad Eid for a Sunset 10K at 18:30 and Mustapha Reda for a 5K at 19:15 – and the Uncommon Run Club. Every step gave them a chance to test the Vomero 18’s legendary max-cushion ride in real conditions.
Starting at the dedicated Vomero Clubhouse at Point Zero, runners grabbed a pair of Vomero 18s and hit the iconic Dubai track. And for those chasing more than just a good time? There was a Strava challenge to clock as many 10Ks as possible — runners had to complete the Point Zero to 5KM mark (and back!) and climb the leaderboard. Top runners scored exclusive rewards, including a trip and race entry to the Copenhagen Half Marathon.
Even if you weren’t setting PRs, the vibe at the Vomero Clubhouse was worth the trip. Feels café served up coffee and smoothies, while Nike experts were on hand to break down what makes the Vomero 18 so special — like its highest-ever stack height and ultra-cushioned feel, designed based on real feedback from women runners.
