Cynthia Merhej is the Lebanese designer behind Renaissance Renaissance (Instagram), the Beirut-based brand she established in 2016. Dividing her time between Paris and the Lebanese capital, Merhej works side by side with her mother, Laura, to design bi-annual collections that are equal parts elegant, poetic, and daringly experimental. Her work combines modern fashion with a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation. Today, Renaissance Renaissance is stocked around the world including retailers such as Harrods, SSENSE, and Nordstrom Space in New York, expanding the Beirut-couture brand internationally.Â
