Few maisons do fantasy quite like Schiaparelli and now, Dubai gets a front-row seat. This December, the Parisian house has unveiled a gleaming pop-up in Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue, a sculptural golden world that feels plucked straight from 21 Place Vendôme. Open for three months only, the pop-up invites the region’s fashion lovers to step inside an immersive universe where couture codes, surrealist symbols, and contemporary craft meet in theatrical harmony. Think: a space that looks and feels like a dream you can shop.

Schiaparelli’s Dubai Mall pop-up doesn’t resemble a boutique so much as an art installation. From the outside, it appears as a polished, hammered-gold structure, a modern shrine to the Maison’s iconic surrealism. Sculpted reliefs of its most recognisable motifs curve across its surface, echoing the emblems that define the brand’s visual language, from anatomical references to whimsical abstractions. Inside, the palette shifts dramatically into a dialogue between gold and glossy black lacquer, deliberately evoking the atmosphere of the historic Schiaparelli salons designed by Jean-Michel Frank for Elsa Schiaparelli herself. The result is a space that is both intimate and theatrical, classic yet boldly contemporary.

Under Dubai’s light, the Maison’s Fall–Winter 2025 collection finds an entirely new rhythm. The pop-up presents a tightly curated edit of ready-to-wear, leather goods, and bijoux, alongside the brand’s most recognisable icons. Expect dreamlike evening and cocktail dresses, elegant trompe-l’œil knits, sculptural denim, sharply tailored jackets, and accessories that merge humour with craftsmanship.

Among the standout pieces are the Secret and Face bags, instantly identifiable thanks to their anatomical gold accents, along with the Maison’s signature jewellery and sculptural tailoring. Each piece embodies Schiaparelli’s defining duality: rigorous French workmanship intertwined with joyful, surrealist extravagance. It’s a reminder that, while the codes of the house remain rooted in heritage, their expression constantly evolves to meet a new generation of global luxury consumers.

Running until 28 February 2026, the pop-up transforms Fashion Avenue into a destination for discovery. No mere pop-up, this is an invitation into Schiaparelli’s world, a place where visitors can wander between fashion and art, fantasy and form, and where the Maison’s surrealist motifs feel almost alive. For the fashion-forward of Dubai, the experience is a chance to collect, explore, and interact with the creative spirit of one of fashion’s most imaginative houses.
