When Parisian sophistication meets Levantine artistry, the result is nothing short of exceptional. STOULS (Instagram), renowned for its innovative leather creations, has joined forces with Nada Debs (Instagram), a celebrated Beirut-based designer, to launch a collection that redefines quiet luxury. At the heart of this collaboration are the ELINA Bag and FLOATING STOULS, two iconic pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, sustainability, and cultural fusion.

Speaking of this cultural coming together, Debs said, “The Lebanese element is the element of adding a contemporary touch to tradition. In our case, it was extracting geometric shapes that were used in architectural details our traditional Lebanese homes.

The partnership between Aurélia Stouls, founder of STOULS, and Nada Debs blossomed from a shared passion for craftsmanship and a belief in the emotional resonance of design. While STOULS is synonymous with timeless leather garments, Nada Debs draws from her global experiences to connect traditions and disciplines. Together, they have created a collection that bridges the worlds of fashion and furniture, showcasing their aligned aesthetics and dedication to quality. “Nada and I have in common a feminine sophistication and a delicate refinement in our creations. Regarding timeless pieces, we are attached to the essence of the products we design. We both brand our names without logo on the products. The precision of details, whether they are clothes or furniture, the highlight on quality of materials we use, and the singularity of our craftmanship, are the signature of quiet luxury,” said Stouls.

Crafted in France, the ELINA Bag is a slouchy, soft leather accessory designed for versatility and elegance. Featuring a pure brass buckle and a limited-edition numbered series, this bag embodies STOULS’ DNA: vibrant colours, supple leathers, and an effortless “second-skin” feel. Made using upcycled leather from previous prêt-à-porter collections, the ELINA Bag is a testament to sustainable luxury.

Nada Debs reimagined her iconic Floating Stools by incorporating intricate leather marquetry, a craft technique that reflects her signature geometric design language. “Our Floating Stool is one of our iconic pieces that we often use to showcase different craft techniques. It was only natural to use the leather marquetry pattern on the stools,” she says. Produced in Portugal and Lebanon, these stools merge contemporary style with artisanal craftsmanship, celebrating the alchemy of materials.

“For us, geometric shapes and patterns define our visual language. We also like to superimpose patterns on top of each other. For the ELINA bag, we opted to integrate some hexagonal shapes superimposed on the square grid of the bag with some fun colours!” says Debs.

The collaboration highlights shared values between STOULS and Nada Debs: sustainability, empowerment, and cultural connection. Debs’ ethos of “handmade and heartmade” shines in every detail, while Stouls’ commitment to upcycling brings a fresh, eco-conscious perspective to luxury design, “Upcycling should be inherent to today’s design and business practices as part of an ethical mindset,” said Stouls. Together, they’ve created pieces that are not only beautiful but also imbued with purpose.

Both designers see this partnership as a stepping stone for future collaborations. With shared creativity and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, they aim to explore new territories, from home accessories to additional furniture designs, always pushing boundaries and inspiring their audiences.
