Dubai Fashion Week (Instagram) wrapped up in spectacular style at Dubai Design District (d3), solidifying the city’s reputation as a global fashion capital. This season, designers delivered bold statements, blending heritage, innovation, and contemporary design.
Among YUNG’s favorites were Les Benjamins, which made its DFW debut with a mesmerizing tribute to Altai mythology. Tara Babylon’s ‘Princess of Thieves’ stood out for its masterful fusion of sustainability and Middle Eastern influences, while Lama Jouni’s effortlessly chic, waist-defining silhouettes proved a hit. BLSSD brought its signature fearless approach to streetwear, and Dima Ayad continued to redefine inclusive luxury with striking, body-celebrating designs. Some designers opted for private showcases, with brands like Mrs. Keepa hosting an exclusive presentation at d3, offering a more intimate and tailored experience for select guests.
Mrs. Keepa
Mrs. Keepa unveiled its Fall/Winter 25-26 collection, LA BOÎTE, in an exclusive presentation at the brand’s flagship store. LA BOÎTE challenges the notion of rigid definitions, embracing the beauty of contrast. Identity is fluid, layered, and ever-evolving. Exploring different perspectives (and styles) isn’t about losing oneself—it’s about deepening self-awareness and embracing experimentation with confidence.
Les Benjamins
Les Benjamins marked its debut as DFW’s inaugural Correspondent Designer. The Istanbul-based luxury streetwear brand introduced the inspiring ‘Altai Turks/Altaicana’ collection to a packed house, drawing inspiration from the ancient traditions and mythology of the Altai people, an indigenous Turkic ethnic group.
Lama Jouni
DFW Member Lama Jouni unveiled her Autumn/Winter 2025-26 line to a packed house of media, buyers, influencers and enthusiasts. Emphasizing practicality and utility, the collection featured a fusion of luxury and streetwear, including chic dresses and waist-enhancing separates in muted and monochrome tones. The presentation celebrated the female form with a versatility of silhouettes on display.
Tara Babylon
New York-based British-Iraqi designer Tara Babylon took over the runway with her collection, ‘Princess of Thieves.’ Bringing a warm and tropical vibe to winter, the Middle Eastern-inspired palm tree prints and earthy green tones reclaimed what was once lost, like oil and palm trees. Tara wove the desert prints into recycled cotton tapestry, using weaving, printing, hardware, and crochet techniques to create stylish, sustainable winter pieces. The result is a range of elegant and comfortable designs that blend texture, print, and sustainability with a touch of Middle Eastern charm.
Dima Ayad
DFW Member Dima Ayad celebrated diversity and female empowerment in the brand’s classic, inclusive styles. A beautiful blend of seasonal colours suited to the season, including rich tones and soft pastels, the collection featured elegant and modern designs focusing on flattering silhouettes and luxurious fabrics designed for women of all shapes and sizes. The inspired display reflected Ayad’s commitment to inclusivity and timeless style.
BLSSD
BLSSD showcased its daring and innovative new collection on day three. The UAE-born and bred streetwear and ready-to-wear label impressed packed crowds with experimental styles, seasonal colours, and bold designs that captured BLSSD’s classic creative approach to boundary-defying modern street fashion.
Etoile La Boutique
Etoile La Boutique’s invite-only showcase unveiled a compelling and meticulously curated multi-designer collection, ‘Twilight to Midnight.’ The seamless transition of styles, reflecting the elegance and allure of evening fashion, celebrated luxury, craftsmanship, and contemporary glamour. Following its outstanding runway presentation, Etoile La Boutique hosted an exclusive event at Gitano Dubai that brought the ‘Twilight to Midnight’ theme off the runway.
