Less than a year after its debut, feminine models graced the Reverso family, reinterpreting the original aesthetic codes with a touch of subtlety. This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre honours its pioneering spirit by unveiling two new expressions of the Reverso One, exemplifying the seamless union of fine watchmaking and high jewellery. Crafted in enchanting pink gold, these timepieces leave no detail untouched, showcasing the brilliance of an icon that continues to inspire La Grande Maison’s watchmakers and the master craftsmen at the Métiers Rares workshop. The new Reverso One Duetto Jewellery stuns with a case adorned with 335 exquisite diamonds, elegantly wrapping around its curved sides, complemented by either a glossy black leather strap or a pink gold bracelet, also encrusted with diamonds.
Jaeger-LeCoultre first introduced the Reverso Duetto in 1997, featuring two back-to-back dials powered by a single movement. This innovative mechanism allowed both sides to display the same time correctly while rotating in opposite directions. For the Reverso One Duetto Jewellery, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s hand-wound Calibre 844, exclusively developed and produced in-house, offers an impressive 50-hour power reserve, ensuring impeccable precision.
The reverse dial presents a wonderful contrast. Featuring Art Deco-style gold hour markers, the black dial instantly captivates with its glossy black lacquer background adorned with tiny gold flakes, creating clusters of mesmerizing light particles reminiscent of the diamonds that grace the case.
The pieces reach new heights, as the case, bracelet attachment, and bracelet links embrace a complete gem-set transformation in a first for the Reverso One.
