Chloé reintroduces the Paddington, one of its most emblematic handbags, in a campaign set against the cinematic backdrop of Paris. First launched in 2005, the Paddington defined a new era of effortless luxury with its distinctive padlock and lived-in charm. Reimagined for Winter 2025 under Creative Director Chemena Kamali, the updated design retains its signature padlock while evolving with lighter hardware, a new single-zip opening, and an adjusted shoulder drop for greater ease. Crafted from supple, washed vegetable-tanned leather, the bag carries a patina that feels authentic and personal.
Directed on 35mm film by Mati Diop and photographed in black and white by David Sims, the campaign captures fleeting encounters and Parisian light, channelling the spirit of 1970s French cinema. Starring Kendall Jenner, Aimee Lou Wood, and K-pop singer Anna from Meovv, the portraits emphasize individuality and freedom, as the Paddington becomes a companion in women’s stories.
