Keeping up with the latest sneaker drops can be one hell of a task, and if you don’t have a cook group to keep you up to speed, the likelihood of you missing out on some of the best drops out there is, well, pretty inevitable.
So here, at Yung, we decided to create one of our own, to keep you abreast with the latest streetwear drops.
Air Jordan 3 Dark Iris
Air Jordan 3 is a staple in the annual Jordan offering. This year alone the silhouette has seen an impressive number of iterations, and that number is set to rise, when Jordan drops the Dark Iris on August 24. The Air Jordan 3 has not gone through many collaborations of late, but with the brand releasing an OG Fire Red, and the Desert Elephants, the silhouette is holding its own among several other grail kicks.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Stealth
Michael Jordan’s career is legendary, so much so there’s an entire brand named after him. But basketball’s favourite son made his first appearance in Jordans in the Air Jordan 1 silhouette. This latest iteration follows Jordan’s love for a two-tone, featuring a clean white and grey colourway. This one has a high chance of becoming a future grail, so keep your eyes on its release on August 27.
FroSkate x Nike SB Dunk
FroSkate, the Chicago-based skate community is best known for highlighting BIPOC skaters who are non-binary. The skate community has teamed up with Nike for a renewed look at the Nike SB Dunk High. The multicoloured sneaker is slated for an August 13 release date.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Black/Phantom
Merely days after releasing his Reverse Mocha Low, the new colourway set to be released is the Black/Phantom. Featuring similar details to the Reverse Mocha, the black upper bases are accented with white overlays. The shoe also features reverse swooshes on the lateral sides, as well as Cactus Jack logos on the tongues. The shoe is set to release on December 15, but judging by the last one, you best get yourself in shape to cop this one.
Air Jordan 1 Chicago Reimagined
The Air Jordan 1 Chicago Reimagined was announced some time back, however at the time of announcing, Jordan had not yet given any details about when the sneaker will be released. The brand has now given an update, and this future grail, based on Michael Jordan’s most loved pair of sneakers is set to release on October 29. The shoe will feature Jordan’s favourite white leather base, with red overlays, and black panels.
