Vacheron Constantin has revealed a new iteration of its Overseas Chronograph, one of the most coveted timepieces in the world. The new version, fittingly dubbed ‘Panda’, features a sporty, elegant two-tone dial. Considering how hard it is to find an Overseas Chronograph on the market, watch collectors will be purring at the chance to get their hands on the new piece.
In keeping with the tradition of the Overseas Chronograph, the Panda comes with a silver-toned, sunburst satin-finished dial. The watch is accented by the snailed black counters and black velvet-finished flange. The indices are finished with 18K white gold and are highlighted with Super-LumiNova.
The watch is versatile and elegant, partly because it comes with an easy-to-use interchangeable bracelet system, where owners can effortlessly switch between a steel bracelet, a calfskin leather strap, and a black rubber strap without the use of any tools.
This black and white Overseas Chronograph is everything we have come to expect from the luxury Swiss watchmaker. Underneath the new two-toned dial, the watch is equally impressive. Powered by the 263-part Calibre 5200, a self-winding mechanical movement produced in-house offers a 52-hour power reserve. The watch features a column-wheel chronograph system that is accompanied by a 22K gold oscillating weight. The compass rose on the oscillating wheel signifies exploration and adventure, ideals that lie at the heart of the Overseas Chronograph.

The watch bears the Hallmark of Geneva, a prestigious certificate that attests to the standards of its craftsmanship. The Panda retails at $32,400.
