Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Cruise 2027 show officially took place at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), staged against the newly opened David Geffen Galleries designed by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. The setting immediately framed the collection within a dialogue between fashion, architecture, and Hollywood glamour.

The show leaned heavily into cinematic references, with Anderson drawing inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock films and old Hollywood icons tied to Dior’s history, including Grace Kelly and Rita Hayworth. Vintage convertibles, glowing street lamps, metallic knits, and glitter-covered gowns transformed the LACMA courtyard into what felt like a noir film set.

Collection-wise, Anderson softened some of the sharper silhouettes seen in his Fall/Winter 2026 debut. This time, the focus shifted toward relaxed glamour: distressed Bar jackets paired with ripped denim stitched together with silver chains, loose robe coats, semi-sheer drop-waist dresses, oversized floral appliqués, and metallic capes. Accessories also became central, including reworked Lady Dior bags, newspaper-print clutches nodding to the Galliano era, and sculptural Philip Treacy headpieces featuring words like “Dior,” “Buzz,” and “Star.”

The guest list reinforced Dior’s growing cultural reach under Anderson. Attendees included Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jisoo, Taylor Russell, Mikey Madison, Tracee Ellis Ross, Dominic Fike, and Miles Teller.
