Emporio Armani is diving into new territory with the Sea Explorer, an automatic diver’s watch that combines professional-grade functionality with the Italian fashion house’s signature approach to design. Now available at EDIT by Ahmed Seddiqi, the timepiece brings together technical innovation, precision and understated sophistication, proving that performance and style can coexist.
Designed for life both above and below the water, the Sea Explorer is certified to the ISO 6425 international standard for diver’s watches and offers water resistance up to 200 metres. Its automatic three-hand movement, complete with a date display and is powered by the natural motion of the wrist, with the option of manual winding.
Housed in a 42.5 mm stainless steel case, the watch balances strength with refined detailing. Brushed and polished finishes create a contemporary aesthetic, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and screw-down case back provide durability and protection.

Functionality remains central to the design. Light-yellow Super-LumiNova illuminates the hands, indices, dial, bezel markings and crown, ensuring legibility even in low-light underwater conditions. A unidirectional rotating bezel allows divers to track elapsed time, while the date window at 6 o’clock and the Emporio Armani eagle at 12 o’clock lend the dial a balanced, distinctive identity.
The Sea Explorer is available in two variations, each offering a different expression of the same design philosophy. A black silicone strap delivers a sportier, adventure-ready aesthetic, while an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a butterfly deployment clasp lends the watch a more polished character.
With the Sea Explorer, Emporio Armani brings its contemporary design language to the world of professional diving watches. Equally suited to underwater exploration and everyday wear, it is a timepiece that moves effortlessly between function and fashion, without compromising on either.
