Over the past decade, Swiss luxury watch firm Piaget has been memorializing the Chinese New Year with celebratory timepieces. After eleven horological creations, this year marks the final zodiac sign in the series of 12, commemorating the Year of the Rabbit, an animal that symbolizes hope and long life. As a homage to the Chinese New Year, the watchmaker unveiled the latest limited-edition Altiplano watch, featuring rabbits in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel.

The brainchild of one of the most well-respected enamellers in the world, Anita Porchet, this 38-piece-limited edition Altiplano depicts two luminous, hyper-realistic rabbits, outlined in a 38 mm 18K white gold case, set with 78 brilliant-cut diamonds and hand-painted using the grand feu enamel technique. The white bunnies feature cabochon eyes and are set against a marbleized white background. Powered by Piaget’s manual-winding 430P movement, the boutique exclusive Altiplano is fitted with a black alligator leather strap.
