NO ART
August 28 | Hacienda Heneish, Egypt’s North Coast
After completely selling out its Mediterranean debut last year and following a successful return to Egypt with a second showcase in Soma Bay earlier this year, Human Figures is bringing the Amsterdam-born powerhouse NO ART back to Hacienda Heneish for one of the summer’s biggest electronic sets. Headlined by house heavyweights Dennis Cruz, ANOTR, Silvie Loto B2B Toman, and Rooleh, this global party series mixes art, architecture, and electronic music in wild settings. Expect one of the absolute defining parties of the season.
Taha Desouky: Let’s Make It Personal!
September 6 | Dubai Opera, Dubai
Egypt’s favourite comedy voice is taking Let’s Make It Personal! to Dubai. Catch a stand-up show built entirely around the hilarious, awkward, and painfully relatable absurdities of daily life, with razor-sharp observations and punchlines by Taha Desouky that hit way too close to home.
Sabah Dining: Cacio e Pepe
August 8 | Al Barsha 3, Dubai
One pasta. Eight seats. One evening. Sabah Dining’s latest supper club strips everything back to a single Roman classic, turning cacio e pepe into an intimate, open-kitchen dining experience packed with loud conversation, a communal energy, and delectable dessert.
Nabil Kanso: Darkness and Light (Part I) Exhibition
Until September 19 | Dalloul Artist Collective, Beirut
Now on view at Beirut’s Dalloul Artist Collective, Darkness and Light traces five decades of Nabil Kanso’s powerful reflections on war, conflict, and resilience. Bringing together monumental paintings, drawings, and archival material, the exhibition explores the tension between destruction and hope across conflicts of the past century. Running alongside it at the Dalloul Artist Foundation is Leaves from the Theatre of War, a striking series of 242 ink drawings that further expands Kanso’s enduring meditation on humanity and survival.
The Archif Edit: Summer at Teta’s
August 6–8 | Liza Beirut, Achrafieh
Archif is back for the third round of its fan-favourite vintage pop-up, Summer at Teta’s. Hosted at Liza Beirut, this three-day event leans into Lebanese summer nostalgia, showcasing curated vintage fashion inspired by long afternoons, classic rituals, and where every great second-hand obsession really started: grandma’s closet.
FUTOMAMA
August 8 | Mariolino Beach House, Ras El Hekma
Beirut’s cult after-hours concept is making its first-ever international appearance, crossing the Mediterranean for a one-night takeover at Mariolino Beach House. With its guest-list-only format and low-key approach, FUTOMAMA has carved out a loyal following in Beirut’s nightlife scene. For its North Coast debut, the concept brings Spanish house producer Janeret alongside local favourites Aly Goede, Misty, and Omar Azaar, promising an underground-leaning night.
Campy Chronicles’ The Listening Library
August 28 | The Hive Basement at Club Ocha BTS, Dubai
If you’ve ever wished your favourite book came with a soundtrack, The Listening Library is for you. Campy Chronicles, HIVE, and Club Ocha are teaming up for a night bringing back the lost art of sharing music. Bring a custom CD playlist inspired by a much-loved read, a fictional character, a specific mood, or a chapter of your own life, and burn it onto a physical CD with hand-designed art. Expect vinyl sets, drinks, plenty of loud conversation, and a room full of people who are just as obsessed with music, books, and nostalgia as you are. Plus, a limited stash of portable CD players will be up for grabs—customize one and take it home while supplies last.
