Designed for high performance and refined motion, the pieces merge technical innovation with Gucci’s unmistakable codes. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed the designs of the upcoming Dubai Museum of Art, created by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Inspired by the sea and pearls, symbols of Dubai’s heritage, the museum features a curved shell enclosing a circular exhibition hall that represents unity and discovery. A central skylight will bathe the interior in natural light, echoing the shimmer of a pearl. Ralph Lauren headed to Kite Beach, Dubai, with the Pink Pony Walk and breakfast event in support of breast cancer awareness. The activation is part of the brand’s global Pink Pony Campaign, now in collaboration with the UAE’s Pink Caravan initiative under Friends of Cancer Patients. Proceeds from this year’s campaign, titled Live Well. Be Well., will support cancer research, early detection, and treatment programs in the UAE and KSA. Dubai-based fragrance house Rasasi Perfumes unveils Rasasi Perfumes 1979, marking a new creative chapter for the family-owned brand. Founded in 1979 by Abdul Razzak Kalsekar, Rasasi has built a legacy of blending Arabian heritage with modern olfactory artistry. Now led by the next generation, Saleem, Omeir, and Talha Kalsekar, the reimagined brand celebrates “Legacy Reborn,” merging timeless craftsmanship with innovative design. The launch introduces new interpretations of the Hawas and Shuhrah collections, alongside Bukhoor Jebel Ali and Bukhoor Raquiya. Christian Dior Maison unveils the Ranelagh Collection, conceived by Cordelia de Castellane and inspired by the fresco in Dior’s winter garden in Paris’s Ranelagh district. The collection pays homage to Christian Dior’s childhood memories and love for nature through a poetic array of pieces. Arts AlUla launches the AlUla Design Award 2025, inviting global designers to celebrate “The Ingenuity of the Human Hand.” Open to creators in fashion and product design, winners in each category will receive a SAR 30,000 design fee, recognizing craftsmanship and innovation inspired by AlUla’s timeless landscape. Applications are open until November 21. Complementing the award, the AlUla Designathon (November 21–23) will welcome 20 young Saudi designers for an immersive three-day program combining mentorship, workshops, and cultural exploration. Participants will engage with international experts and create projects that blend tradition and innovation. Red in progress. Salone del Mobile.Milano meets Riyadh marks the Middle East debut of the world’s leading design fair. Held from November 26–28, 2025, at the King Abdullah Financial District, the event is organized in partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Architecture and Design Commission. The showcase brings together over 35 Italian brands and Saudi designers, setting the stage for the full-scale Salone Riyadh edition in 2026. Through installations, masterclasses, and business exchanges, Red in progress fosters collaboration between Italian and Saudi creatives, reinforcing Vision 2030’s goal to build a thriving cultural economy. Designed by Giò Forma Studio, the scenographic red installation symbolizes energy and progress, turning Riyadh into a living canvas for design, innovation, and cross-cultural dialogue
