Cannes 2025 – Who Owned the Red Carpet?

As the sun-soaked shores of the French Riviera play host once more, the 78th Cannes Film Festival (Instagram) has officially rolled out its iconic red carpet and with it, a global gathering of auteurs, rising stars, and red-carpet royalty. Running until May 24th, this year’s edition continues to celebrate the finest in international cinema.

Presiding over this year’s festivities is none other than Juliette Binoche, joined by an eclectic and star-powered panel, including Halle Berry, Carlos Reygadas, and Jeremy Strong. With a powerful line-up of 22 films competing for the Palme d’Or. With the atmosphere this year feeling especially curated, it’s giving equal parts serious cinema and serious style.

Sure, we came for the films. But let’s not pretend the fashion isn’t its own festival. And this year the red-carpet fashion moments delivered. From boundary-pushing silhouettes to headline-grabbing accessories, the stars surely brought their A-game.

Here’s the YUNG-approved winners who owned the red carpet at Cannes 2025 with their looks.
