YUNG, the UAE-born independent magazine and media platform, has appointed Farah Kreidieh as Editor-in-Chief, marking a significant new chapter for the homegrown title as it enters its next phase of growth.
Kreidieh joins YUNG following her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire Arabia. With more than two decades of experience across publishing, fashion and luxury in the Middle East, she brings deep knowledge of the region alongside an international editorial perspective.
Her appointment represents an important milestone not only for YUNG, but for the evolution of independent publishing in the region: an experienced Arab editor choosing to help shape the next chapter of an independent UAE title and build on the creative foundation established here.
Founded in Dubai in 2022 by Sandra Yeghiazarian, YUNG was created as an independent voice emerging from the Arab world, with a global outlook across fashion, music, art and culture. It has grown from a founder led independent magazine into a wider media and creative platform, working with some of the region’s most influential talent alongside leading international names and brands, and establishing itself as an independent voice for a new generation of Arab culture.
As Kreidieh takes on editorial leadership, Yeghiazarian will continue as Founder and CEO of YUNG, focusing on the wider growth of the company, the development of new divisions, strategic partnerships and the continued expansion of YUNG beyond publishing.

I built YUNG independently in the UAE because I believed there was space for a title from this region with its own voice, perspective and cultural point of view. Bringing someone of Farah’s calibre and experience into that vision feels like a defining moment in our growth. Farah Kreidieh assumes the role of Editor-in-Chief of YUNG effective September 2026. Sandra Yeghiazarian remains Founder and CEO of YUNG.
