There are certain milestones in Dubai that signal a brand has entered a different league entirely. A flagship at Dubai Mall is one of them. For Karen Wazen, whose eyewear label has steadily evolved into a globally recognised fashion business, that moment has officially arrived.

Karen Wazen Collection has opened its first UAE flagship store at Dubai Mall, marking a major new chapter for the Dubai-based brand. Located on the Ground Floor within the mall’s Social District, the boutique introduces an immersive vision of the Karen Wazen universe from eyewear to accessories, one that feels equally rooted in fashion, community, and contemporary Dubai culture.

Spanning approximately 40 square metres, the store brings together the label’s full eyewear and accessories offering within a sleek, unique environment. Stainless steel dominates the interiors, creating a polished, futuristic atmosphere softened by mirrors, open layouts, and interactive elements designed to encourage visitors to engage with the space beyond simply shopping. A dedicated in-store photo booth and a seated coffee bar further position the boutique as a social destination rather than a traditional retail concept.

The opening also reflects how dramatically Karen Wazen Collection has grown since launching in 2020. What began as an extension of Wazen’s personal style has become one of the region’s most recognisable eyewear labels, now stocked at more than 20 international retailers and e-commerce platforms.

For Wazen herself, the moment carries a deeply personal significance. “This store represents a significant milestone for Karen Wazen Collection,” she shared. “Dubai has always been a city that inspires growth, ambition, and possibility, and opening our flagship in Dubai Mall feels like a natural evolution of our journey.”

She continued, “We wanted to create a space that goes beyond retail, one that reflects our identity, our community, and the way our customers engage with the brand.”

The emotional weight of the opening becomes even clearer through her reflection on arriving in Dubai 15 years ago and imagining what it might feel like to one day have her own store inside the mall. “Today, to see that dream come to life, and to have Karen Wazen Collection among some of the most established brands in the world, is something I’m deeply grateful for,” she said.

In many ways, the flagship captures the larger trajectory of Middle Eastern fashion entrepreneurship right now — digitally native brands evolving into global luxury-adjacent businesses with physical spaces that feel experiential, social, and culturally aware. And there are few places more symbolic for that evolution than Dubai Mall itself.
