On September 19th, during Milan Fashion Week, Villa Mozart’s gates swung open for a fabulous soirée. The event paid homage to Milan’s cultural milieu, adorned with quintessentially Milanese décor and design pieces from the Marta Sala Éditions collection. It was a celebration of Serapian’s legacy, steeped in the fine tradition of leather goods.
At the heart of this collection is the Secret tote bag, a signature design that emerged as a bespoke artisanal creation. Conceived for a discerning Milanese client, this bag offers spaciousness, lightweight elegance, and a hidden pocket inside. In the “Milanese Geometries” collection, the Secret tote bag pays tribute to the measured opulence of Milan’s entryways. These entryways serve as a portal to discover the city’s soft-spoken flair. They feature polychrome materials and intricate geometric patterns that deftly balance austerity and magnificence, exuding both out-there splendor and understated sobriety. This design ethos embodies Serapian’s knack for understated elegance, exceptional craftsmanship, and meticulous artisanship.
The Secret tote bag, crafted from supple nappa leather, unveils its soul in the “See-through” range, offering black and tan iterations. These designs showcase the signature Mosaico weaving techniques, accentuated by contrasting leather or canvas linings. Each bag includes a hidden leather pouch adorned with the exquisite Mosaico pattern.
Serapian’s artisanal prowess shines brightly in the Mestieri d’Arte lineup. Inspired by Milanese entryway marble flooring, these creations employ the stop-and-go Mosaico technique, combining nappa, suede, and laminated nappa in eclectic color combinations. From coral red to peacock blue, each version is a testament to Serapian’s commitment to elegance.
The rare and precious exotic skins collection elevates the exquisite pattern to new heights. Off-white leather pairs with beige suede and light gold laminated Elaphe strips, adding a 3D and textured effect to the timeless Serapian icon.
