This year’s releases move between high jewellery, technical innovation, and cultural storytelling, each piece carrying a distinct narrative while remaining rooted in the brand’s core philosophy: the Art of Fusion.
Leading the showcase is the Big Bang Impact One Million, a piece that sits at the intersection of haute horology and high jewellery. Set with around 500 diamonds arranged in a vortex around a central flying tourbillon, the watch transforms gem-setting into architecture. The technical complexity is matched by its presence: a 45mm white gold case housing a hand-wound movement with a five-day power reserve. It is less a timepiece and more a statement of intent, continuing Hublot’s legacy of million-dollar creations.
Equally expressive, though in a very different register, is the Big Bang Joyful Steel Purple. Here, Hublot shifts from spectacle to emotion. The use of amethyst stones across the bezel and strap introduces colour as identity rather than decoration, with violet positioned as a symbol of intuition and balance. Powered by a self-winding movement and designed with versatility in mind through interchangeable straps, the piece speaks to a new generation of collectors seeking both personality and wearability.
Hublot’s ongoing dialogue with sport continues through two standout collaborations: the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé and the Big Bang Reloaded Usain Bolt. Both limited to 200 pieces, these watches translate athletic mindset into mechanical form.
Mbappé’s edition, crafted in white ceramic and King Gold, is defined by its engraved mantra “Trust Yourself,” reflecting a narrative of ambition and self-belief. Inside, the Unico flyback chronograph calibre delivers a 72-hour power reserve, reinforcing the balance between performance and symbolism.
Bolt’s version is personal and layered. Featuring a lightning bolt-shaped chronograph hand and even a fragment of soil from his Jamaican training ground embedded within the case-back, the watch becomes a physical extension of his legacy. It is storytelling at its most literal, merging material innovation with biography.
Perhaps the most technically ambitious release comes through the Spirit of Big Bang Impact collection. For the first time in its history, Hublot has succeeded in setting diamonds directly into sapphire, one of the hardest materials to work with. This breakthrough required hundreds of hours of machining and precision engineering, resulting in a series of limited editions that push both aesthetic and technical boundaries. Alongside this, the introduction of osmium, one of the rarest metals on earth, further reinforces Hublot’s commitment to material experimentation.
