As part of Beirut Art Days, l’atelier by Maher Attar presented [In] Seam, the first solo exhibition by Lebanese multidisciplinary artist Dima Youssef Rbeiz. Guided by her lifelong practice, La Chaleur Humaine, or Human Warmth, the exhibition brought together eighteen works shaped by collecting, preserving and reimagining everyday materials, from fabric and thread to rubber, cans and labels. At its centre was Rainbow (2017–2025), an eight-year work made from gathered textile remnants, colour and time, unfolding across a traditional stone wall. Born in Beirut and rooted in Bishmizzine, where repair and reuse were part of daily life, Rbeiz turns discarded objects into gestures of memory, care and continuity. Works such as Home, Beirut Conversations, Beirut the 70s and Road to Bishmizzine reflect on belonging, family history and what still has a life left to live.

Gucci has revealed its latest High Jewellery collection, a richly crafted homage to nature, nautical codes and the House’s most enduring signatures. The collection unfolds across four families: Gucci Flora, Gucci Nodo, Everlasting G and Iconic Signatures, each translating familiar motifs into rare gemstones and Italian craftsmanship. Flora returns through poppies, lilies, orchids and peonies, with titanium, rubies, sapphires, diamonds and tourmalines used to create pieces that feel sculptural and alive. Gucci Nodo moves into a more nautical language, reimagining rope as supple chains set with aquamarines, emeralds, paraiba tourmalines, yellow sapphires and diamonds. Everlasting G gives the Gucci logo a sharper high jewellery expression through geometric pavé forms, while Iconic Signatures revisits the Horsebit and Marina Chain in diamonds, tsavorites, tanzanites and golden beryls. Together, the collection balances heritage with bold materiality, turning Gucci’s house codes into pieces of colour, movement and craft for a luminous new jewellery chapter.

Dries Van Noten Beauty expands its universe with a new Hand & Body line, bringing the Maison’s instinct for contrast, colour and scent into everyday rituals. Built around a three-step routine of Liquid Soap, Body Lotion and Hand Cream, the collection turns cleansing, hydrating and nourishing into a sensorial experience. Each formula is paired with one of three olfactive moods: Basil & Hinoki, Pepper & Rose and Soie & Amber, echoing the House’s Crazy Basil, Raving Rose and Soie Malaquais fragrances. The scents can be worn alone or layered, moving from aromatic freshness to spicy florals and warm, silky gourmand notes. Skincare-led formulas include rosehip oil, almond oil and jasmine extract, with vegan, dermatologically tested textures suitable for all skin types. Gradient-lacquered packaging makes each piece feel like an object, while refillable glass bottles, recyclable PET refills and aluminium tubes bring longevity to the beauty of modern daily use everywhere.

Asteri Beauty introduces Spectrum, a travel-friendly complexion palette designed to bronze, blush, sculpt and illuminate in one sleek compact. The award-winning Saudi-born brand, known for desert-proof formulas built for heat, humidity and long wear, brings together seven complexion-enhancing formulas across four textures, giving users everything from a soft sun-kissed finish to a bolder, high-impact glow. Berlin-based Palestinian artist Aya Samra returns with Madina, an Arabic-language single that explores memory, identity and the emotional search for home. Blending the depth of classical Arabic Tarab with a contemporary sensibility, Samra’s sound carries the quiet intensity of an artist shaped by displacement, resilience and self-expression. After arriving in Germany from Syria in 2015, music became her way of processing experience and building a new creative language. In 2025, she gained global attention when a spontaneous beatbox rendition of Asmahan’s Ya Habibi Taala went viral, reaching more than 100 million views. With Madina, Samra moves inward. The track began as an imagined city before becoming a reflection on belonging, longing and inner stability. Drawing on Tarab traditions and Spanish flamenco guitar, the song creates a moving emotional landscape where romance, memory and the search for self quietly meet.

Richard Mille shifts gears with the RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago, a 50-piece limited edition created with the legendary Italian bicycle manufacturer. Drawing on Colnago’s heritage of rarity, craftsmanship and performance, the watch translates cycling codes into a minimalist, highly technical design. Its RM64-01 calibre is built around lightness, transparency and volume, with 274 components revealed through a tubular architecture inspired by racing frames and the RM 012 Tourbillon. A skeletonised grade 5 titanium baseplate and bridges, finished with microblasting, polished bevels and black and grey PVD, frame a 65-hour power reserve and a variable-inertia tourbillon positioned to echo a bicycle drivetrain. The White Quartz TPT case is accented with Azure Blue Quartz TPT and, for the first time on a Richard Mille sports watch, 5N red gold. Finished with Colnago’s Ace of Clubs emblem, the piece celebrates speed, engineering and the human hand behind exceptional objects.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has announced Omar Sy as its newest Friend of the House, introducing the partnership through The Hour Before, a series dedicated to the unseen moments that shape excellence. Known for his magnetic presence, versatility and quietly confident style, the French actor and producer brings a career defined by evolution, discipline and emotional range. From early comedy on radio and television to international cinema, Sy has continually moved beyond expectation, building a body of work that spans more than 40 films and series. For Jaeger-LeCoultre, the collaboration reflects shared values of mastery, refinement and time. The Hour Before looks at what happens before success becomes visible: the preparation, uncertainty and perseverance that shape a defining moment long before the world is watching, away from the spotlight and public applause.

Opera Gallery opens Summer Vibes, bringing together a vibrant selection of modern and contemporary artworks that span generations, styles and cultural moments. Designed as a dialogue between some of the most influential artistic voices of the past century and today, the exhibition traces the evolution of visual expression through works by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Fernando Botero, Yayoi Kusama, Shepard Fairey, Julian Opie and Miguel Sainz Ojeda.

Dior Prestige is entering a new chapter in 2026 with skincare steps rooted in the Rose de Granville, the Maison’s first rose created for use in Dior cosmetics. For 15 years, this exceptional flower has embodied the meeting point between science and nature, with 22 micro-nutrients at the heart of Dior Prestige’s signature complexes. Now, its revitalising power is carried into a complete cleansing and treatment ritual designed to leave skin fresh, plump and radiant. The Rose Infused Cleansers mark the first step, removing impurities while soothing and regenerating the skin. Le Baume Démaquillant transforms from balm to oil, then into a silky milk with water, while La Mousse Micellaire becomes a light, airy foam. A pale pink Savon envelops the face in creamy bubbles, while the Sucre de Gommage sugar scrub and Le Masque Micro-Nutritif de Rose complete the ritual with intensive nourishment and a luminous, petal-soft finish.

Egyptian couture designer Shahira Lasheen has introduced the first chapter of her Spring/Summer 2027 couture collection, The Years of Dreams and Love, through an intimate, invitation-only experience in Cairo. Rather than revealing the garments, Lasheen chose to open the emotional world behind the collection, inviting 30 guests into an immersive evening shaped by storytelling, architecture, colour, gastronomy and design. Born from personal transformation, the collection explores memory, separation, renewal and the versions of ourselves we leave behind. At its centre was interior architect and Professor of Colour Mohamed Baitie, whose narrative guided guests through themes of resilience and reinvention. Set within the historic surroundings of Beit Hawary, the experience also featured a bespoke menu by culinary creative Yasmine Gharably. With the full collection to be revealed later this year, Lasheen’s new chapter begins with feeling before fashion.

Parmigiani Fleurier continues its exploration of high-performance materials with the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet Mineral Blue, a 2026 chronograph where innovation is built into the case itself. Ultra-Cermet, a hybrid of advanced ceramic and titanium, took more than three years to develop and is not a surface treatment, but the watch’s structure. Its 42.5 mm case, fluted bezel, crown, pushers and pin buckle are all crafted from the material, which offers a cool metallic feel, strong scratch resistance and shifting tones from anthracite to deep black and blue. The satin-finished Blackor and Mineral Blue dial keeps the colour restrained, while the Mineral Blue rubber strap extends the watch’s architectural language. Inside, the COSC-certified PF070 manufacture calibre runs at 5 Hz, with a 65-hour power reserve, 288 components and 42 jewels. It is performance expressed with Parmigiani’s measured elegance, precise, contemporary and quietly technical without losing any refined restraint today.

Nobu North Coast is back for its second summer season, officially reopening at OGAMI by SODIC as Egypt’s Mediterranean dining scene moves into full summer mode. The return follows a major week for the brand in Egypt, marked by the launch of Nobu New Cairo and the unveiling of the country’s first Nobu Residences at OGAMI. Together, the announcements signal a wider expansion for Nobu across Egypt, connecting hospitality, dining and lifestyle through some of the country’s most talked-about destinations. On the North Coast, the restaurant is expected to reclaim its place as one of the season’s key addresses, drawing guests looking for the brand’s signature mix of Japanese cuisine, Peruvian influences and sleek coastal energy. As summer edits, dining guides and where-to-eat roundups begin to take shape, Nobu North Coast returns as a clear contender for one of the Mediterranean’s most in-demand tables.

Lancôme is expanding its Absolue universe with the launch of Absolue Longevity MD, a new skincare range built around the growing science of cellular longevity. Moving beyond traditional corrective skincare, the House introduces a proactive approach designed to support skin vitality at its source and target visible biological skin age. The range is powered by Lancôme’s exclusive Longevity Integrative Science, developed through 60 years of research, and a landmark partnership with Swiss longevity biotech company Timeline. At its core is Mitopure, a clinically studied molecule derived from Urolithin A, used to help re-energise mitochondria and support cellular renewal. For the first time, Mitopure is being deployed at scale in beauty. Absolue Longevity MD is structured around three phases: Anticipate, Intercept and Reset, each addressing different stages of visible ageing. Breitling pays tribute to cycling legend Eddy Merckx with the Top Time B01 Eddy Merckx, a limited-edition chronograph built around sport’s most untouchable record: 525 victories. The Belgian rider dominated professional cycling from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s, winning 11 Grand Tours, 19 Monument classics, three World Championships, five Tour de France titles and spending a record 96 days in yellow. The new watch continues Breitling’s cycling story following the Top Time Coppi and Bartali editions, while nodding to the brand’s long history of precision timing for the sport. Its 41 mm stainless-steel case houses the Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified movement with around 70 hours of power reserve. A yellow dial, silver “squircle” counters, tachymeter scale, Merckx signature at 6 o’clock and “One of 525” caseback engraving turn racing numbers into wearable legacy. Available on perforated black leather or stainless-steel mesh, it brings cycling history to the wrist.
