Dubai’s fashion calendar is getting a major new focal point. On 12 September, The Event 003, the editorial-driven high-fashion platform, will take over Dubai Mall Exhibition Center for an edition designed to push the platform’s ambitions, and its scale, further than before.

Launched in 2025, The Event was conceived as a means of elevating fashion presentation across the region. The event serves as a meeting point for designers, brands, media and creative leaders, with an emphasis on curation, craftsmanship and international presentation standards. The overall goal is to create meaningful opportunities for designers and creative professionals while developing a fashion platform with global reach.

The Event 003 will be the first event staged inside Dubai Mall Exhibition Center, according to the organisers, with a 130-metre runway that they describe as the longest in the Middle East. The move gives the edition a noticeably larger canvas, while keeping the focus on the designers and creative talent at the centre of the platform.

The Event 003

Rather than building its identity around volume, The Event says its approach is deliberately selective. Participating designers, brands and partners are chosen to create a line-up where emerging talent can appear alongside more established names under the same production standards.

Each edition has been built around a different conversation. The first introduced The Event through runway presentations, creative collaborations and immersive experiences, while the second explored the relationship between fashion and architecture.

For The Event 003, the format expands again. Designers from across the region are set to present their latest collections to buyers, international media, celebrities, industry figures and fashion insiders. Away from the catwalk, curated exhibitions and immersive brand experiences will give guests another way into the collections and the ideas behind them.

A digital campaign running across Dubai Mall will also extend the participating designers’ visibility beyond the physical event, connecting the platform with the mall’s international audience.
