You probably already know that SOLE DXB is back for its 10th anniversary after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, and what better way to kick-off its return than by joining forces with Level Shoes for the pre-opening party.
As pioneers and champions of innovation and community spirit, we think that Level Shoes is the perfect brand to host the hotly anticipated Sole DXB. Since its inception 10 years ago, both brands have used their presence to boost and support local talent, artists, and creatives alike. Now, for its tenth year, the pair have joined forces, passing their mic’s to the next generation of trailblazing talent, aiming to bring them together. The union between two of the most well-known platforms in the Middle East will surely set the tone for the rest of the festival. This year Sole DXB has chosen Arab excellence as their theme.
The preopening party which took place last night included performances from Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea, known for collaborations with Sean Paul, as well as LA Based DJ Khalil, DJ Snips and DJ Dijok, who hails from South Sudan, among others.
Level Shoes is the largest retailer dedicated to footwear only and continues to maintain a significant presence at Sole DXB. The two are bound by their mutual love and investment in seeing the regions diverse and enthusiastic sneaker community thrive.
“What better way to end the year than with this exciting partnership?” said Elisa Bruno, Managing Director at Level Shoes said, “Level Shoes and Sole DXB were both born 10 years ago in Dubai with big dreams and an unstoppable drive, so the fact we get to collaborate in the place we call home whilst celebrating the Arab and sneaker community is extremely special. It feels like a full circle moment, and I’m honoured to what we do best, together.”
