This Is Yung

Mark your calendars as Dubai Watch Week 2023 (site) is all set to unveil its largest and most spectacular edition to date. The international event promises an unforgettable experience for watch enthusiasts and style aficionados. The five-day extravaganza, running from November 16th to 20th, will take place at The Gate, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

Dubai Watch Week 2023 is not just an exhibition; it’s a coming together of horology, design, art, and automotive excellence. With over 60 iconic watch brands gracing the event, including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, TUDOR, Hublot, Chopard, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux, Van Cleef & Arpels, CHANEL, and Bulgari, this year promises exclusive must-see watch launches and limited editions. The full list of exhibitors can be seen here.

Iconic brands will occupy stand-alone spaces and The Collectors Lounge will serve as a meeting point for global watch enthusiasts to partake in curated educational sessions and explore the world of horology.

An original concept, the Horology Forum, will lead the way for free-flowing discussions between master craftsmen, industry leaders, visionaries, and seasoned collectors. This year, the forum introduces its first-ever Arabic panel, diversifying its platform for a broader audience.

The impressive lineup of speakers includes François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet; Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer of Seddiqi Holding; Jean Arnault, Watch Director at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton; and other renowned figures.

The event features 11 masterclasses offering hands-on workshops, including dials crafted from pure sugar, transforming vintage Norwegian silver spoons into wearable art, and crafting Emirati Safeefah Leather Bracelets.

The Creative Hub will host dialogues like the Super League of Sustainability, exploring circularity in the Swiss watch industry, and an intimate conversation with Mr. Jean Claude Biver about his transformative influence on the watch industry.

Christie’s returns with engaging talks, panel discussions, and complimentary watch valuations. Young visitors can also participate in the Christie’s auction for kids.

Explore exhibits in the central Brands Exhibition area, including Amadeo’s unique collection of Dubai Watch Week cameo pins and the M.A.D Gallery’s showcase of global artists’ creations. Guests will also have the chance to win luxury watches and experiences through a unique exhibition by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH).

Beyond horology, visitors can indulge in culinary concepts from La Niña, Home Bakery, KITCH-IN, and TWST. Discover a world that matches the grandeur of Dubai Watch Week.
