Greca Goddess top handle bags are the latest addition to Versace’s (Instagram) bag and accessories line-up. Released as part of the Fall-Winter 2023 collection, the bags feature the iconic Greca symbol.
The Greca geometric pattern is inspired by ancient designs found on the detailing or faces of ancient Greek buildings and household items, from temples to pottery, labyrinths, public buildings and homes. The endless, uninterrupted line represents unity and infinity and has long been a staple of the brand.
Borrowing perhaps from the concept of the Greca, the Greca Goddess features architectural curves throughout the body that are strongly mirrored by the stunning arched top handle made from tubular leather with angular cut ends.
The famed symbol graces the front of the Greca Goddess, where the themes of unity and eternity come together in the centre of the bag, resting above a metallic Versace logo plate, both in deep gold. The design is rounded out by a leather shoulder strap, internal pockets, and a magnetic fold over closure.
As you’d expect with Versace, the bags are made in Italy and use only the finest of leathers. Alternative finishes in leather of smooth or crocodile-embossed calf leather are available in sizes of medium and small.
