Louis Vuitton expands its iconic Color Blossom universe with the debut of the Color Blossom Watch, introducing a new expression of the House’s Monogram Flower through a timepiece that feels equally rooted in jewellery-making and watchmaking savoir-faire. The watch arrives as an extension of the Fine Jewelry collection’s playful spirit, sculptural elegance, and vibrant chromatic identity.

Originally launched over a decade ago, Color Blossom has become one of Louis Vuitton’s most recognizable jewellery collections, built around reinterpretations of the Monogram Flower motif first imagined by Georges Vuitton in 1896. Across rings, bracelets, earrings, and pendants, the collection has continuously explored stone craftsmanship through combinations of mother-of-pearl, malachite, amazonite, onyx, carnelian, and sodalite. Now, for the first time, the collection evolves into horology.

The new 26mm watch adopts the Monogram Flower as the very architecture of the case itself, sculpted into a sun-shaped silhouette with softly curved lines and polished contours that mirror the rounded volumes of Color Blossom gemstones. Crafted in steel or gold depending on the variation, each version balances femininity with precision, while subtle House signatures remain present throughout. A flower-shaped crown and tiny nail-inspired hands quietly reference Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making heritage, grounding the watch within the Maison’s wider creative language.

Four versions debut within the collection. A white mother-of-pearl dial paired with steel introduces the material to the Color Blossom universe for the first time, accompanied by a soft beige strap for a muted, understated elegance. Elsewhere, a blush-toned interpretation combines pink gold with a hand-painted mother-of-pearl dial and pale pink strap, while a striking amazonite model pairs yellow gold with turquoise leather accents. The most precious edition arrives snow-set with 103 diamonds totalling 0.91 carats, surrounding a white mother-of-pearl dial within a pink gold case.

At the heart of the launch is an intense focus on gemstone craftsmanship. Louis Vuitton applies the same rigorous standards used in its jewellery collections to the ultra-thin watch dials, whether through 3A-grade Australian mother-of-pearl or carefully sourced Brazilian amazonite. Each stone undergoes delicate shaping and polishing processes to preserve luminosity, transparency, and natural veining while adapting to the technical constraints of watchmaking. The dials, measuring between 0.3 and 0.6mm thick, are then curved into the signature rounded silhouette associated with Color Blossom jewellery.

The Maison’s watchmaking expertise is equally present through the subtle rail-track motif stamped onto the gemstone dials, a technical challenge given the fragility of the materials. Tone-on-tone and intentionally discreet, the motif enhances readability while echoing the floral geometry of the case itself.

Balancing Parisian jewellery codes with Swiss watchmaking precision, the Color Blossom Watch ultimately reflects Louis Vuitton’s evolving approach to wearable luxury: expressive yet refined, playful yet technically sophisticated. Sitting at the crossroads of jewellery and horology, the collection introduces a new way to wear one of the House’s most enduring symbols.
