Shirine is back with two highly-anticipated, and contrasting singles.
The pop star returns with two new singles, ‘Khayen’ and ‘Kan 3andak Kam Sana’, released simultaneously as the first official tracks from her new strategic partnership with Warner Music MENA. Rather than easing into this next chapter with a single sound, the double release places two very different sides of Shirine beside one another.
On ‘Khayen’, the mood turns inward. Built as an emotionally charged power ballad, the track centres on betrayal and heartbreak, leaning into the vulnerability and vocal intensity that have long underpinned Shirine’s connection with listeners. It is the heavier half of the pairing, shaped around hurt, resilience and the emotional aftermath of a relationship breaking down.
Then comes ‘Kan 3andak Kam Sana’, which shifts the energy completely. Driven by lively rhythms and a more immediate, upbeat character, the track draws on the ease and charisma associated with Shirine’s sound, offering a brighter counterpoint to the drama of ‘Khayen’.
Released together, the two tracks emphasise Shirine’s range. One sits with heartbreak; the other moves away from it. Between them, Shirine uses her return to show her depth rather than settle into a single mood, beginning her Warner Music MENA chapter with both emotional weight and forward momentum.
