Bottega Veneta (site) has unveiled its newly redesigned store at the Mall of Emirates in Dubai, featuring a sophisticated interior concept crafted by the label’s renowned creative director Matthieu Blazy. This revitalized space pays homage to the brand’s Venetian roots and exemplifies classic Italian craftsmanship through its elegant design elements and exclusive offerings.

The store’s façade and interior are adorned with concrete tiles, a tribute to Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa, celebrated for his innovative use of the material. These tiles not only enhance the store’s walls and floors but also extend to the shelving units and planters, creating a serene and refined atmosphere. The choice of Italian walnut wood for additional shelving and display units adds a touch of warmth and domesticity, complemented by the striking Verde Saint Denis marble sourced from the Aosta Valley in northern Italy.

Soft wool carpets and woven leather seating in hues of green, brown, and black bring tactile comfort, nodding to Bottega Veneta’s signature materials. Each fixture and object within the store references the brand’s iconic designs, from the main door handle inspired by the Sardine bag to the ceramic plant pots crafted by the Milanese studio responsible for many of Bottega Veneta’s enamelled ceramic pieces.

A notable feature of the new store is the enhanced customization area. Separated by a folding wooden room screen, this private space is equipped with a bespoke table, leather swatches, and a customization box, allowing customers to personalize iconic Bottega Veneta bags with their choice of colors, materials, and initials. This exclusive service ensures that every piece is tailored to the customer’s taste and lifestyle.

Towards the rear of the store, rotating doors made from Verde Saint Denis marble lead to an intimate VIC area. Upon its opening, this space will feature 15 unique Knot bags from Bottega Veneta’s archives alongside a selection of the house’s jewelry collection, offering a glimpse into the brand’s rich heritage.

The newly reopened boutique will showcase the Pre-Fall collection and debut Bottega Veneta’s new candle line. To commemorate the reopening, the store will launch three exclusive Sardine bags with ceramic handles, along with six unique handbags crafted from exotic leathers, including the Sardine in Blue Sprice alligator, Small Hop in Emerald Green alligator, Mini Andiamo in Bitter Orange alligator, Small Andiamo in White Fume alligator, Medium Andiamo in Cold Teal alligator, and Large Andiamo in Dark Ruby alligator.
