At Watches and Wonders 2026, Chopard leaned into refinement, precision, and emotional storytelling. Across its latest releases, the focus is clear: craftsmanship over spectacle, heritage over disruption, and elegance that feels quietly assured.

Chopard
Alpine Eagle 41 XPS

At the heart of the presentation is the Alpine Eagle 41 XPS, a piece that embodies Chopard’s ability to merge sport with high watchmaking. Ultra-thin at just 8 mm, the watch is crafted in Lucent Steel and powered by the L.U.C 96.40-L calibre, a micro-rotor movement delivering a 65-hour power reserve. What distinguishes this release is not just its technical precision, but its finishing. Certified by the Poinçon de Genève, a rarity for steel watches, it reflects an obsessive level of detail typically reserved for precious metals. The “Mountain Glow” dial, inspired by Alpine sunsets, reinforces the collection’s connection to nature and its multi-generational story.

Chopard
L.U.C 1860

That same movement appears in the L.U.C 1860, a tribute marking 30 years of Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier. Here, the tone shifts toward purity. The 36.5 mm case, hand-guilloché dial, and absence of a date display create a composition that feels timeless rather than contemporary. Powered by the same ultra-thin calibre with twin barrels and a micro-rotor, the watch balances technical innovation with traditional craftsmanship. The use of Lucent Steel again highlights Chopard’s commitment to sustainability, with an 80% recycled composition.

Chopard
Happy Sport Happy Hearts

On the more expressive side of the spectrum, the Happy Sport Happy Hearts introduces a softer, more emotional narrative. Set within a 33 mm case, the watch features two dancing heart motifs alongside three floating diamonds, creating a sense of movement and play. The addition of a denim strap brings an unexpected contrast, blending casual elements with the refinement of a mother-of-pearl dial. Powered by the in-house 09.01-C movement, it maintains technical credibility while leaning into Chopard’s signature sense of joy and femininity.

Chopard
L’Heure du Diamant

Completing the lineup is the L’Heure du Diamant, where Chopard’s dual identity as watchmaker and jeweller becomes most evident. Framed in ethical white gold and set with 4.40 carats of diamonds using the Maison’s crown-setting technique, the watch transforms light into structure. The deep black onyx dial adds contrast and depth, while the in-house automatic movement ensures that beauty is matched by performance. It is a piece that speaks less about timekeeping and more about emotion, material, and presence.

Across all four releases, a consistent philosophy emerges. Chopard is not chasing attention. It is refining its language. Whether through the technical purity of L.U.C, the sport-elegance of Alpine Eagle, or the poetic femininity of Happy Sport and L’Heure du Diamant, the Maison continues to build a world where craftsmanship, sustainability, and design coexist seamlessly.

At Watches and Wonders 2026, Chopard reminds us that innovation does not always need to be loud. Sometimes, it is found in precision, restraint, and the quiet confidence of doing things exceptionally well.
